The Feeling of Love
The feeling of love
which makes you feel like a dove,
O that feeling which gives you butterflies
But other times makes you cry.
On a sunny day
Thinking about the way,
A person makes you feel
Makes your head reel.
I remember once
A day I was in bed,
Just thinking about that moment
Made my cheeks go red.
It felt truly surreal
The thinking wouldn’t stop,
It made my heart feel
Like a bubble about to pop.
Even food didn’t taste the same
Honestly thought it was all a game,
Then something made me realise
That maybe I didn’t have to lie.
To myself and to my heart
To feel that true heart,
But maybe it wasn’t true
Those feelings out of the blue.
They always come and go
In their own flow,
Those days were true bliss
Which were something worth to miss.
