1. Time Management
The question paper consists of three sections.
Devote 50 minutes to each section.
By following this strategy, you will have approximately 30 minutes remaining at the end.
Utilise this additional time to review answers and complete any pending questions.
2. Reading Section (Comprehension)
First, read the questions carefully then read the passage thoroughly.
This approach will help you identify relevant information and understand the type of answers required.
Write responses in clear and precise language according to marks weightage. For 2 marks question, minimum 2 different points required.
3. Grammar & Writing Skill Section
Attempt the best 10 questions out of 12, as instructed.
Avoid guesswork. Attempt Reported Speech carefully.
Read each sentence carefully before selecting or writing your answer.
Follow the proper format for letter writing and other writing tasks.
Ensure correct placement of sender’s address, date, receiver’s address, subject, salutation, main content in 3 paragraphs & closing. For Analytical Paragraph clarity and coherence in biginning and closing statement is must.
4. Extract-Based and Long Answer Questions
Read each question carefully before attempting it.
Understand what is being asked.
In long answer questions with two or three parts, answer each part in a separate paragraph.
Adhere strictly to the prescribed word limit.
Present answers in a well-structured and organised manner.
